It is time for me to start posting the articles I write for GIA here. This little article for example comes from its ninth issue and proves that browsing men street style pictures all day long could sometimes have its benefits.

There are millions of well-dressed guys around the globe. Who cares? It’s not about being well-dressed – it’s about being extraordinary. And these are some men that manage to achieve it. They have the superpower to influence all men with the ability to browse the Internet.
All of them.

Karl Guerre
Karl Guerre is the photographer behind the street style blog ‘Swagger 360′. It is odd to say that he is known for his attention to detail, as most street style photographers seem to be such. He, however, is distinctive for not being the regular behind the camera person. Mr. Guerre is also a victim of all other cameras around trying to shoot his eye candy outfits.

Tyler Riggs
Tyler is one of those lucky models that got the job by accident. He was shot for a school project by a friend and later was contacted by an agency – a thing that a lot of men and women unsuccessfully try to achieve. He is now signed by Next LA and he’s been doing some work for Urban Outfitters, Sisley, H&M, D&G, etc.

Robert Rabensteiner
Robert Rabensteiner is the man who everybody loves to feature on their blogs. He’s the fashion editor of L’Uomo Vogue and his style is absolutely distinctive. He’s not the regular man in the regular formal wear. Mr. Rabensteiner knows how to incorporate the impression of aristocracy and comfort altogether. I can see myself meeting him. All I’ll say is something like: ‘Um… So… Um… I… Um… You…’ That respectful he is.

Francesco Cominelli
The fashion editor of Vogue Hommes International is my personal Jesus. His style is remarkably youthful and yet elegant. He can perfectly mix clothing that most guys would never even think of mixing. For Francesco prints seem to be basics – he just loves messing around with them.

Josh Peskowitz
I don’t know why but Josh Peskowitz very much reminds me of Jean Reno in Léon. He is not an assassin (at least he’s not known for that), but he sure has a killer style. The Men’s Style Director at Gilt Groupe often goes for the not-so-sartorial comfy look dominated by basics, but spiced up with accessories that pop out. And he’s one of the very few guys that can wear a camouflage jacket and look good…

Nick Wooster
He’s rough, he’s impressively stylish and he makes you want to grow your facial hair. Until recently Mr.Wooster had the dream job – he used to be the men’s fashion director of Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, contributing with a lot of creativity in the overall managing process.
