I know, I know… After these long periods of hard non-posting I am coming back with yet another post about H&M. And sorry, but this video is definitely worth the efforts. Fashion Against Aids is the Swedish brand’s contribution in fighting AIDS. The video below, as it has already been made clear, is the one accompanying the campaign. Beautiful couples, safe sex atmosphere and music from Chad Valley… Lovely.
Saturday seemed like it was gonna be a good night. I know my people and I know how everybody likes to party. And somehow luckily I found myself bringing this bag with a bunch of H&M clothes inside. While they were all going crazy jumping up and down, I was taking these clothes out and started giving them around. Then thanks to everyone having fun I had the chance to capture the clothes in action. So yeah, Saturday was a really good night, and lets let this Friday be again…

If you love Broadway and you haven’t seen the new series Smash yet – do it. It’s been a few months for me waiting for the pilot episode to be aired on February 6 and… I forgot. These days, however, I saw what’s been out and I have to say that with every episode Smash becomes more and more intriguing and inspiring. It is telling about the creation of a musical in honour of Marilyn Monroe and the relationships and dramas between all the characters involved. One day you wake up and even before you get out of the bed you say to yourself “I want yellow briefs from chicken feather made in the Vatican”. You open the laptop, load one of the Ebays, search for “yellow briefs feather Vatican” and then you place the order. A week later it is delivered to your post office. You go there and the angry old lady at desk 13 gives you the briefs. To shop online is easy and cool. This camouflage case for example costed me six dollars including the delivery.
We all know there is no stronger and more fascinating relationship than the one between a man and his favourite beer. It just isn’t… The team from Heineken also seem to (surprisingly) know that and they easily scored a goal (again) in the other teams’ door. With their concept of the legendary men the Dutchs portray how good a bottle of beer can fit in the hands of a stylish and cool dude. It just makes you desire Heineken not because it’s tasty but because it perfectly fits your fine lifestyle and carefree attitude towards life. Bulgarian designer Vesselin Yordanov (Capasca), photographer Vasil Germanov and a few random i-am-not-a-model guys managed to successfully represent that feeling in a few shots. Now excuse me but I am going to the 24/7 because I all of a sudden got that wanna-be-hip feeling and a beer might help.
You know how many blogs make “The Best of The Sartorialist” or “The Best of Jak&Jil”, right? Well I just thought of posting my favourite looks from our young Bulgarian street style page - U-lica. The webpage popped out near the end of the year and for a short time captured some of the most stylish and good looking people on the streets of Sofia. We are hopefully going to see more from these people this year, because, trust me, they have a lot to show. And not only them, of course. So here are my personal favourite a few.
There are two River Island stores in Holland and, of course, one is appears to be right next to our workplace in Rotterdam. Hm… I don’t know if that is a bad luck or it’s more of a gift from the Gods, but I am permanently there and my money are permanently gone. Each and every visit brings me a new garment in a bag. And even the bags are winning…

Christmas arrived and miracles started to happen. I have no idea what miracles exactly, but that’s what people say and I always trust people. To visit Antwerp and not to check the ModeMuseum is bad. Well, not as bad as not visiting the Belgian town at all, but it still is a huge miss.
The bold bearded Walter is one of The Antwerp Six – six designers, who graduated Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts and started to glorify the town as a lair of the fashion creative mind. Seen from Walter’s view fashion is a fascinating adventure. Mr. Van Beirendonck proves that imagination is over anything else and accompanied by excellent execution and taste it can make even the fashion disinterested one amazed. Double checked!
